Time for a DTB

Have you ever had a DTR convo? You know, define the relationship? Well, that’s kind of what today’s post is, but soooo much better. It’s time for a define the blog convo.

For a few years now I’ve been trying to figure out Stiletto & Sand. What did I want it to be? What did God want it to be? Where could Jarrett and I fit it into our family plan? I started with Blogspot then moved to WordPress all the while not truly finding my voice in the influencer world. I would get started, get overwhelmed and push S&S to the side.

Then last summer I read Jaclyn Johnson’s Work Party and made the decision to start doing what I could. Baby steps. I began laying the building blocks for today, the DTB. Grab a marg or some bubbly and let’s chat! It’s going to be fun. This is an easy relationship. A little reading and a lot of shopping. Below are a few things I want you to look for during the week.

#mondaydreams Every Monday on Insta I’ll share something I’m dreaming about. Chances are it will be expensive. It’s important to keep up with high fashion because that’s where styles/trends often start. Plus, we have to dream big. Who knows when the opportunity to splurge will present?

#wednesdaywants On Wednesdays we need something to get us juiced to make it through the week. I can churn out all kinds of work if I know UPS will be making a delivery on Friday. Check Insta on Wednesdays for a treat that’s attainable. Something that fits the budget.

#fiveonitfridays My favorite day. It’s post day. On Fridays head to stilletoandsand.com for five things I’ve been shopping for you. Some weeks will have themes, some weeks will be random, but it will always be worth the click. Promise. Won’t let you down.
