Welcome!

I love fashion.  It all started in my little hometown of Rome, Georgia.  Mel & Mimi, one of our local boutiques, is where the love affair began.  My mom taught me the motto “always look the part” and after working with Melanie and Mimi the deal was sealed.  Fashion had to find a place in my future.  Since we lived close to Atlanta, I spent lots of days strolling and dreaming at Lenox Mall.  Later I spent time at the mall as a GAP girl.  To this day, denim with a tee, sneakers and diamonds (my absolute favorite jewel) is still one of my go-to looks (some might say my daily uniform).

I’ve grown up a lot since my days as a GAP girl, and I’ve developed an appreciation for the art of fashion design.  I love Louis Vuitton, Christian Siriano, Oscar de la Renta, Brandon Maxwell and Ralph Lauren.  I remember watching Christian Sirano on Project Runway knowing he was going places.  I love boutique shopping, but online shopping has a place in my heart too.  Thank goodness Shopbop, Net-a-Porter, Zara and Nordstrom are great for quick shipping.  

These days you’ll find me on the Georgia coast working as an OB/GYN nurse.  I’m mom to the brother-sister duo, Finley(11) and Breaker(8) and married to my risk manager husband, Jarrett.  His number one risk management job:  Preventing me from memorizing our credit card number (insert grinning emoji here).
