Want You to Want Me

Want You to Want Me

I decided a few years ago that the only jeans I would buy be would be the ones want to put on. Done. I want my jeans to be soft, keep their shape and move with me. I want to be able to lunge, squat and bend over and not think about what my jeans might do or might not let me do. Bye-bye knee bubbles and saggy crotch. What this means is premium denim only. I hate to say it, but it’s true. It’s much better to have one pair of jeans that you wear three times a week versus three pair that you dread putting on. Here are five pair that are 100%. I have some of the them and some my friends say are amazing.

Mother Superior Sidewinder

The jeans above are Mother Superior (AKA Mother). LOVE them. I planned to wear them every once in a while, but since December they have become a weekly staple. They’re so soft that the high waist doesn’t feel restrictive. If you want to try a high-waist go for these, the Sidewinder.

The Citizen of Humanity Rocket High Rise Skinny is the best. Make sure you get the ones with sculpt. I’ve tried them with and without. I don’t know what it is but pay extra for it. I can squat, bend over, climb on the playground, etc. when I wear my Rockets.

Need a pair to go with boots? I have these Citizens of Humanity Emanuelle Skinny Bootcut jeans and they work with all of my booties and most of my mid-calf boots. If you have traditional cowboy boots you may need more room in the calf. Check out the pair below.

Citizens of Humanity Doozy Jean

The Mother Doozy Jean is great for traditional cowboy boots. I have a similar pair from Mother. I wear them with boots and sneaks. They let you do the flare trend without going totally Saturday Night Fever.

L'Agence Highline High Rise Skinny Jean

My number five is this pair of L’Agence jeans (Highline High Rise Skinny). I need cropped and I need distressed. I don’t have any L’Agence denim but have heard they make the booty look good! I’ll let you know.
