Whatever you like

Next on the fall shopping list: Denim. Lots of good stuff. The skinny is still around but get ready to add a few new staples.

First, the rigid. This typically means untouched, straight from the factory, but the definition has expanded to what I’ve pinned down to little to no spandex. I love my buttery soft, stretchy denim. It’s going to take time, but I’m on it. This ASKK pair isn’t quite rigid, but my starting place. I’ve been told to try Levis’ wedgie jeans. I like these too. It will probably take these or these to get me totally on board.

Second new staple, wide legs. Don’t think you’re too short, simply pair with a shoe that has height. I like this Boyish pair. This may be my first pair of Good Americans. (want to try this line badly) and my fave, Mother.

Not sure if the following two styles will make the staples stack, but I have to share.

The tapered leg. If I can pull them off like Victoria Beckham (above and a style crush) I might be able to get on board with this pair by Frame or these Citizens.

And the statement jean. These jeans have a cool belt or they’re a print. They can have pocket detail like these or these.

My take-away for fall 2020 denim: You can’t go wrong. As T.I. says, “You can have whatever you like.”
