all for my peeps

We’re on the cusp of the it season for sunglasses. Don’t let them be a wardrobe afterthought. They can complete a look, especially at the beach or sporting event. I’ve rounded up options for you guys, all for my peeps.

  1. The Classics. Invest in a pair of these. These are the glasses you’ll wear most days. Go for a pair of wayfarers like Ray-Ban’s Original or Quay’s oversized version. Another classic option is the aviator. This pair of Ray-Ban aviators with “flash” lenses is on my wish list. If you’re not ready to invest in Ray-Bans, most fast fashion stores have plenty of aviators ready for quick pick-up at check out.

  2. Cat Eyes. My love for the cat eye is genetic. My mom has always had a pair on hand and now so do I. They’re just fun. Great to bring along on a girls’ trip. I’ve had this pair from H&M. If you’re all about the cat eye, how about this (amazing) white pair by Prada? I think this must be Zimmerman’s version of a cat eye. They’re one of my favorite discoveries.

  3. Oversized. Nothing says, “I’m here!”, like a pair of oversized sunglasses. They’re lots of fun. I’ve had this Gucci pair pinned for a while . . . and now they’re on sale. J. Crew has this pink pair that I love too. If you’re going size big, you might as well go color big too! If you want to keep things more low-key I have the same glasses in tortoise shell. I get compliments every time I wear them.

  4. White hot. White sunglasses can be tricky, but give them a try. This pair by Quay is H-O-TT HOT! This pair is bold, but perfect for festival season. Another bold pair here, but a statement and would be fun to wear.

  5. Pink. Not the frames, but the lenses. I have this pair of Quays and there’s something about the pink that pops. It compliments fair and olive skin. I like this pair and this pair by Diff.
