going for silver
The next few weeks it’s going to be all about the gold, but I’m here to tell you, silver is where it’s at. Finley knew in January when she convinced her dad and me to get her silver GG mids. She has worn them with EVERYTHING. We (I got on the silver train) had to have a silver shoe for summer. These Birks have been perfect. I think we both wear them daily. I’ve even worn them to church. Metallics have a dressier vibe (great for beach/park events when you can’t wear heels).
This morning I’ve compiled a few faves.
Again here are my and Finley’s shoes of summer. If you like something more feminine, these bow sandals are precious (and you’re throwing in the bow trend!).
If you like the Air Force One look, go for these Autrys.
More of a GG girl? Here’s one of their takes on silver, but I LOVE these P448s and these Dolce Vitas great.
I forgot about these SEs. They have a Marant vibe. So cute.
These ballet flats are great for transition. Wear them with your shorts as temps get cooler then denim in later fall.
I like to keep it positive, but silver shoes call for a “fashion don’t”. This is not the look you want when it comes to silver. Keep sliver heels sleek.
