Mother's Day Supplement

Rule number one when it comes to Mother’s Day: Have fun, don’t over think it. Ask your kids what they want to do for mom (or mom figure) in their life. Their ideas will likely bring laughter, tears and make a memory. Then supplement.

A little piece of jewelry is always fun to receive. I love it when the kids give me jewelry. I think of them when I wear it (and get to brag on them if complimented). They gave me a custom “momma” Roxanne bracelet a few years ago and I cherish it. This year I put an Ellie Vail ring on my list. I like this neck too. EV jewels are, in a way, made for mom. They don’t tarnish in water. Wear them all day, every day. No matter what the middle of the night brings jewels are on. I’ve had my eye on a mama Hart Hagerty bracelet for a minute too. Perfect for stacking.

Beach/pool shoes make a fab mom gift . They’re not a big commitment. If mom isn’t crazy about them, no biggie, they’re just for the pool. I’ve gotten Birks similar to these two years in a row. They’re easy to rinse off and you don’t flip sand up your legs. I could use new TKEES. The light pigment flip flops that you can customize with a foil monogram are super chic. The colors, coral. lilac, egg shell white, carolina blue are all wonderful.

A summer bag is a fun idea. Going back to one of my favorites, Dagne Dover. The price point is perfect for gifting. I may get this one for myself if it doesn’t make the kids’ cut. I have this one in neon yellow, but the lilac is really pretty. OK, I have to mention Leatherology. I’ve been dreaming of this bag with trapunto personalization for a few months, but its price tag is more than what we typically do for mother’s day. It would make a sweet

A few other items to consider are a summer Lele headband, a Happy Everything frame or one of The BakerMomma boards and cookbook.
