It’s here moms, friends, fams: BTS. Back to school. I’m ready, not ready. Ready for the kids to be back in a routine, but ugh, homework and demanding schedules and kid logistics, not so ready for that stuff. And what do they need for BTS? Everything.
Ladies first.
I’ve gotten lots of requests for Free People with several new items in the mix. Finley got these shorts, a new style, and a pair of always faithful Get Your Flirt on shorts. We love these Trail Angel shorts, but not sure if they’re too short for school? Pair your shorts with this tee or this tank. Oh, this tee too (check the dress code).
Aviator Nation tee. The boyfriend cut is my favorite. Size up. They’re currently 30% off. FYI, sale merch can not be returned.
On the feet. If you can find them, Adidas Gazelles or Sambas. Finley had to go an entire size down in her Gazelles. I love Newbies 574 and 574+. The 327s are great too. For actual workouts, Hokas. Cliftons seem to be most popular. If you’re planning ahead, I’m calling cowboy booties will be on Finley’s list late fall.
Gotta get new gear. Scout is the go-to lunch box. North Face the go-to backpack (I love this color). And there’s a new water bottle on the scene, the Owala FreeSip.
Gentelmen.
Breaker has these Nike shorts in tons of colors. Amazing price. He’s grown enough to fit into Lulu now (insert gut punch). His pick is the Pace Breaker Lined 5” short.
On the top, anything Dri-Fit. These can be tricky to find. Here’s a Nike basic. Tip, if you’re at an event or your team’s sporting event, make the purchase. It may seem like a lot, but it’s all they wear. If he has an absolute fave player, jerseys are always a winner.
Jordans. They typically sell out in seconds, but these are still available. These too, perfect for GA fans. Dudes like Hoka Cliftons too. Grab socks to go with the sneaks. Stance or Bomba.
I caved and got Breaker a Yeti lunch box. He had to work for it. Owala or Stanley for a water bottle.
