Katie Holmes was on to something this summer when she got caught wearing the cardi set above.

Sweaters are hottie this fall and by hot I don’t mean warmth. I mean Joey, “How you doin’?” hot. Here is Katie’s top and cardigan. I wish I could indulge. I can’t so I went searching. I found this crop top and this cardi. I grabbed brown but they have it in black and lavender also. Love the detail of this top and this jacket at Zara. They have this top and this jacket too. If you’re concerned about the crop top/bralette situation there are still options for getting hottie in a sweater. Try on cut outs. It may not make sense, but when does fashion make sense? Pixie Market has this turtleneck. It would be great paired with maxi skirts and wide leg pants to give them edge. Astr has similar in black and white. I got this one (also Astr) for Valentine’s date night last year.

Even more confusing, but so chic are sweaters with an open back. I grabbed this one at H&M. This one would be great to pair with a sequin bottom for holiday parties. If you’re more of denim girl this one would be great with jeans by the fire.
