more than turtlenecks and cable knits

I have been waiting to write this post all summer. Big fall trend: Knit dresses. These aren’t the usual turtleneck and cable knit dresses. They’re more sophisticated and a little sexy. Cozy and sexy? Yes, it’s possible. Take this Jonathan Simkhai for example. Silhouettes are sleek and body skimming. I still love a turtleneck like this Good American and this Ramy Brook. This set (top and bottom) and this set (top and bottom) step up the sexy, but sometimes you feel like bearing a little skin even though it’s winter. Zara has this set (top and bottom). It’s good for every day. Pair it with a denim or leather jacket and sneaks, maybe a Twine and Twig white neckparty. This Staud set (top and bottom) is perfect for date night or a PTA meeting. They have this dress too (again add denim or leather if it’s chilly) but great for transition. I like FP’s Emmaline and Trixie dresses too. What’s great about these looks is that they’re one and done. Effortless and chic.

Make sure you’re following me on Insta! More knits to come!
