All the chicks in my family are getting headbands this Christmas.  It might be one of the best trends to come around in a long time.  Everyone can sport a band, in fact, to me pixie cuts wear them best.  It’s unexpected and so cute.

I’m pretty sure the duchess started the current headband craze.  While I haven’t been brave enough to try a padded headband, TONS of others have.  This red velvet one would be a fun pop of holiday, but this one is festive too and would get more wear post-December.  Since I’m on the fence I’ll go to THE place to take risks, Amazon.  Thinking this one or this one.

One of THE BEST Oscar looks (and moments) of all times was when Lupita Nyong’o accepted her little man for best supporting actor.  How did she accessorize?  With the perfect little, jeweled headband.  Wear your jewels girls.  Don’t feel like it needs to be a special occasion to bling it up.  I would wear one of these or this one to work any day.

I don’t go for bows often, but when the mood hits me I have an Anthro headband similar to this one that I love to wear.  This basic black one is good to have on hand.  Think of it as the LBD of accessories.

One more headband style to go:  The knot on top.  It’s like you have a scarf perfectly tied (tricky-tricky).  Go for a smaller knot like this one by Loveshack Fancy or this one at Shopbop.  I just ordered this set from Amazon.
