Mini-Size

For the past eleven years a big piece of joy in my life has been dressing Finley(11) and Breaker(8).  It’s so fun.  Isn’t everything is cuter when it’s mini-sized?  

Holidays are always one of my favorite times to push Finley and Breaker out of their clothing comfort zone (it was their dad when they were babies, think John Johns and bonnets).

For Breaker I’m a sucker for statement pants like the Bailey Boys pair he has on above.  FYI, Bailey Boys pants fit true to size.  He really liked these because they weren’t “itchy”.  Janie & Jack has this similar plaid pant.  I always order a size up.  I like this embroidered pair they have too.  The Santa hats are so cute!

I really want a cool jacket for Breaker this year.  I love the velvet one above from J. Crew.  Mini Boden has this plaid one and a take on velvet too.  He has a basic navy jacket.  I’m thinking about adding a few patches to it to give it an edge.

Finley has become a bit of a challenge as she’s gotten older.  For years if she had a long dress that would “twirl big” she was ecstatic to get ready for Christmas Eve service.  Her first Christmas dress was similar to the one above from Bailey Boys (they make girls’ clothing as well).  I love this one and the coordinating big sis’ dress.
