Elf mode
This post came together while I was hyper-shopping. It’s a bunch of different things that I couldn’t decide how to categorize. They’re good for guys, gals, old, young, a gift exchange, a stocking stuffer or maybe the “big” gift.
Games. I may have taught my kids how to gamble with Left Right Center. I like to substitute dollar bills with candy. The directions can be a bit confusing but Mexican Train is a great family game. Designate one person to decipher and explain the rules and stick with them. The name, Jackass, may need to be explained to younger players but we played it at our last family dinner and it was a blast. I’ver ordered Family Feud After Hours for our next couples get together but planning to get the family edition too.
Chargers. Mine get stolen daily. I found this one and this one Amazon. Courant has the chicest chargers I’ve seen. They’re wrapped in leather, can be personalized and have options for charging one, two or three devices at the same time (use code FREE for 25% off and free monogramming). I’m getting this one for Jarrett. I stumbled across this Anker charging stand too. It’s perfect for the kitchen.
Warm stuff. If you’re jumping on a plane this holiday season grab a Sleeper Scarf first. I listened to the founder talk about it and it sounds one-hundred. Def on my list. Also on my list, one of Jill Martin’s Lounger Sherpa Hoodies. I missed my size (again-ugh) last week. They get RAVE reviews and sell out. It’s not a sleeper but I have one of these scarves from Anthro and it’s great for traveling and every day.
Lighters. I think rechargeable lighters sold out a few Christmases ago. They’ve gotten sleeker since then. This one at Shen Beauty is actually pretty (counter top approved) and this Zippo one is flexible. If you want to keep it basic, here’s one at Amazon.
Bottoms up. The kids and I love Corkcicle canteens. They’re dishwasher safe (major win). Jarrett and I love those little plastic cups you get at the Masters and special events. I don’t know what it is? I want these “roadie” ones for our house.
Socks. We all get socks in our stockings, right? I’m asking for more of the best sock ever: Bombas (currently 20% off with code CHEER20) and ordering these personalized dog socks for a few dudes in my life.
Chairs. Jarrett, Finley and Breaker have fallen in love with bean bag chairs. They particularly love this Big Joe (on sale at Wayfair). I just found this puppy one though and may have to surprise Breaker. Thinking about this one or this one for Finley. The key is an affordable insert.
Thanks for making it through my “elf mode” finds! More to come. Follow me on Insta. Posting gift ideas daily!
