I was raised on Barbie. My sister, cousin and I played Barbies 24/7 during the summer. We turned my Nannie’s kitchen, den and/or porch into the ultimate dream house every day. Nannie was more than happy to oblige us. She was often as tickled over Barbie pink as we were. I remember her calling Sears and Lionel Playworld in June searching for the coveted Christmas Barbie.

When I learned Greta Gerwig was filming a Barbie movie my heart may have leapt. In preparation I’ve been pinning all things pink since last summer. Starting with some of my favorite dresses.
