I love shopping for Finley . . . and sometimes I hate it. Last week I sent her dress after dress and received texts back no, eh, ew. I’m pretty sure she liked similar dresses a day before? Such is the life of my teen girl. She knows what she wants when she wants it. That being said, I made sure I had ALL the deets before tackling her Christmas list.
Clothes. She can never have enough Lulu, Gold Hinge, Free People and new on the scene, Aviator Nation. At Lulu go for a Scuba hoodie, Align legging, Free to Be Bra, Swiftly tee and Pace skirt. Rarely is there a color Finley doesn’t like. Black is great if your gal is starting her Lulu closet. Also in the skirt section is Gold Hinge. This baby pink color is so pretty. Next, Free People. Finley has a few of these tees (short and long sleeve). She likes the Get your Flirt On Shorts and Way Home Skort (I secretly want one of these). This FP fleece gets taken from my closet often. Almost done with clothes. Aviator Nation has hit Fin’s middle school. She has this neon pink crew, but she likes this one too. Anything in the neon section will do. Also, sign up for their emails and follow them on social. They sell fast and do flash sales often.
Jewels. Anything from E. Newton will bring a huge smile. Finley has a necklace similar to this one that she wears almost every day. I have bracelets like these that I have to hide. My tip is to keep jewelry simple. This pack of ears from Amazon has been a hit as well as these bracelets. Fin likes her basic hoops. I’ve never been disappointed with a Pavoi purchase.
Self-care. I’m a bit jealous of how in-tune girls are these days with taking care of themselves. They love Tree Hut and all the masks. (fave). Finley is constantly on the search for the perfect curl. This heatless set is on the way, but a wand is a good idea too. Always a best-seller, the Revlon blow-dry brush. Last weekend at Sephora Finley told me this is the best gloss, this is the best perfume line and she HAS to have this Drunk Elephant bronzer in her stocking (um, please).
I almost forgot PJs. I’m constantly on the search for a Roller Rabbit shorts set. They sell out in seconds. The satin and cozy (top & bottom) sets at Target are always a favorite though.
